I've been wanting to get on and post here but it seems like something is always keeping me from getting here! Anyway, here I am. I've been playing with my stamps today when I really should be cleaning or something but what kind of fun would that be?! Hey, I did wash some clothes and that should count for something, right? On to the important stuff!

I used sets from the Occasions Mini Catalog for both of these cards.

The first card I used the Oval All and Soft Summer sets. Card stock is Basic Gray, Mellow Moss, So Saffron and Whisper White. The Designer paper is Walk In The Park also from the mini. I used Basic Gray pad and So Saffron & Mellow Moss markers and some dazzling diamond glitter on the center of the flowers and on the oval piece. Not sure if that will show too well here. The ribbon is Mellow Moss Taffeta. I also used the Scallop Oval punch, love this punch!


For the second card I used the Very Versatile Set and En Francais background stamp. Card stock is Night of Navy, Baja Breeze, Kiwi Kiss, Whisper White. The Designer paper is Urban Garden. Punches: Word Window, Small Oval, Scallop edge. Ribbon is Satin Kiwi Kiss/Very Vanilla. White Brads are from the 5/16 Nuetrals assortment. I used the white gel pen to make the dots on the scallop edge. Ink colors are Kiwi Kiss, Night of Navy and Baja Breeze. I have already cut paper to make more of this one for a swap I'm participating in. This is the first card I've made with this set and I struggled a little as I mostly bought this set for the verses but was detirmined to use the image stamp! So.....after a little experimenting I actually like how this turned out.

Hello! Sorry I've been away so long. Seems like life kind of "took over" around here! For those of you who haven't heard......I'm a grandma now to an adorable Granddaughter named Irmina! Yeah....the name is a little out there but we have gotten used to it. I'm having fun shopping for girly clothes and putting together a scrapbook for her. She was born on January 2.

My DH and I went on a cruise vacation in February on the Amizon River and some of the Caribbean Islands. It was an educational and fun trip. As always it was good to come home......and start planning our next vacation!

I have finally found time to fit in some stamping though! So here are a couple of cards that I would like to share with you.

The Easter card is made with the An Egg-cellent Easter set from the new Occasions Mini. Isn't that bunny juggling the eggs just too cute?! I used Bashful Blue, So Saffron & White card stock. Designer paper an Saffron Ribbon are from the Sale-A-Bration brochure. I used the flower assorment brad which I absolutely love. Stampin' Write markers to color in the bunny image, small oval punch and word window punch and sponging.

The other card is made with the Trendy Trees set. I used Whisper White, Close to Cocoa & Tangerine Tango Card stock, Kiwi Kiss Designer Series Paper, Tangerine Tango Ribbon, the new scallop oval punch (love this!), oval punch 5/16 brown brad from the Nuetrals assortment, Tangerine Tango, Basic Brown, Kiwi Kiss & So Saffron Pads and some sponging. I really like this set & it's retro feel!
